Unit 1A is located on a quiet road at the very top of the mountain. It is bordered on one side by the Smoky Mountain National Park and has a nice, wooded view. It is approximately 5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 13 miles from Pigeon Forge. It is the top floor of a two-story building. The drive from town to the unit is on steep, sometimes winding roads. During the winter months, a 4-wheel drive is necessary. This unit has 1 exterior step and 15 interior steps.
